I like this book, it relates to us kids right now. When Tom was young. He is a very mischievous boy, he played hookie from school and gets into fights like some other boys you may know. But he is very crazy when he also persuades this girl he likes to get engaged. He reminds me of me now but not doing stuff that bad. Also one day he saw a murder with his friend Huck which is Huckleberry Fin and they were very scared so they go to an island in the middle of the Mississippi River and stay there until they come back home. An innocent man is accused of that murder but Tom isn't sure he should tell the police who the real murderer was because it would not be safe or have an innocent man suffer. Overall it was a very good book and would recommend it to grown ups too.

That does sound like a good book. The thing I don't get though is why they wouldn't tell the police before they go to the island. I might read it to find out.
