Change Up
The book Change Up is about two teenagers, a boy and a girl who go to major sport events and interview famous stars. They are now going to go to the World Series with the two teams; the Boston Red Sox and the Washington Nationals. The Washington Nationals get a late call up from the minor leagues who is put on the World Series roster. He is an unknown pitcher who is placed to start game three. His name is Norbert Doyle. Stevie and Susan, the two teenagers, hear the story and are interested in learning about him so they meet up with him and they learn all about him. They learn he has two kids and that his wife died recently. In game three Norbert Doyle pitches a no hitter to the ninth inning and it turns out later in the book he shares the World Series MVP with Aaron Boone. The Washington Nationals win the World Series as an underdog team. Who would ever think Norbert Doyle would do that good?

I probably would read this if I were more interested in baseball and is this a true story?
