Dear John is a book by Nicholas Sparks about a 23 year old guy names John Tyree. He lives with his dad when he isn't serving in the army. He is stationed in Germany and is now home for a month on leave. During this time, he meets a girl named Savannah Lynn Curtis. She is there with a group of people from her college for Habitat for Humanity. They are building houses for families who's houses have been destroyed. This book is about two people who have to choose between each other and their future.
