I just finished reading "The Last Summer (Of You and Me)" and I really liked it and it's kind of like the books you have read, so I recommend it to you. It's about two sisters spending the summer at their vacation home on Fire Island and finding who they are and who they want to be. It's by the author of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. If you don't like that then I think you would like the adventure in "The Hunger Games," along with the romance and rebellion in it too.
