that was then, this is now
was a pretty good book. it wasn't too dry and wasn't too eventful that you had no idea what was going on. i liked the book but the ending kinda disappionted me a bit. i would recommend this book to anyone who liked The Outsiders because one, its the sequal=) and two it has pretty much the same kind of fighting and know-it all tone to it. i liked that S. E. Hinton used her imagry because it wasn't like so intense that it took up a couple of pages and it wasn't to small that it was like the firey orange. all in all, the book was pertty intense and i liked it a lot.

I loved this book when I was in middle school. John Steinbeck really left a sour taste in your mouth about imagaery, huh?
