Saving CeeCee Honeycutt- Beth Hoffman
Saving CeeCee Honeycutt is an incredible story of overcoming loss, starting fresh, and meeting new friends. In the beginning of the story you see how CeeCee's mentally ill mother has put a burden on her life. She is living in her pageant days, walking through the streets in prom dresses and heels. She is the laughing stock of Ohio, leaving CeeCee shy and embarrassed. CeeCee's dad refuses to care for her mother, so the 12 year old has spent years caring for her mother. A tragic accident leaves CeeCee motherless. To do "what's best" for her, her dad sends her to live in Savannah, Georgia with her Great Aunt Tootie, a complete stranger. After realizing the south is amazing, CeeCee sets out to find a friend who not only understands her, but one who isn't afraid of her past. During this search, CeeCee meets all of the strong headed and hearted women of Savannah.
