The Vow

For this IRP, I read “The Vow” by Kim and Krickett Carpenter. “The Vow” is a true story about Kim (male) and Krickett(female). When they met, Kim was a baseball coach in New Mexico, and Krickett worked at a store in California. Miraculously, they met in the phone, and fell in love. They got married a few years after they met. Suddenly, only 10 weeks after they met, they got in a traumatic car accident. Both of them were rushed to the hospital. Krickett suffered a major brain injury that erased the last few years of her life from her memory. Kim stayed with Krickett although she didn’t remember him.  They end up getting back together and they have two kids.  I loved this book and recommend it!
